Dr. Lisa graduated from Logan College of Chiropractic in April of 1987, eager to help people have the health they need to live their best lives. More than an ordinary chiropractor, she is always looking more deeply into the awareness that there is a reason for every symptom that occurs in the body. She has never been satisfied with just making a symptom go away. Instead, she encourages her patients to realize that symptoms are relaying messages that there may be an underlying dysfunction and to be open to the possibility that anything can cause anything. Her ongoing education continues to this day, and she has studied for thousands of hours in order to help her patients be well. Her patients appreciate her skill, experience, friendliness, honesty, intuition, listening skills, caring heart, and even her sense of humor.
Working with a combination of Applied Kinesiology Muscle Testing, Nutrition Response Testing, and Designed Clinical Nutrition using whole food supplementation and dietary modifications, Chiropractic and Cranial structural corrections, and various other advanced techniques, Dr. Lisa Gordon is able to analyze and address the underlying dysfunction of her patients’ bodies that lead to symptoms. Most of her patients are women between the ages of 35 and 55 although her patients range fully in gender and age. She is respectful of all people and honors diversity in her practice and in the world.
Cybele and Dr. Lisa Gordon have been friends for 30 years, since Cybele worked in Dr. Lisa’s first office. When Cybele left the practice, she and Dr. Lisa remained friends, getting their homeschooled children together from time to time, and doing yarn-related things like visiting the Alpaca Festival in November of 2023, which led to their current working relationship. Cybele has a depth of experience in design, management, customer service and theatre and admits freely that she is a textile junkie. She is responsible for the creation of Optimist Owl, who has something encouraging to say to guests in our office every day.
